Parent & Toddler Groups

There are two groups– one meeting on a Thursday morning, the other on a Friday morning. This is a chance for parents and their young children to meet and play together in a church setting.

Adult Groups

Social Groups– There are two ladies groups (Women’s Meeting & T Club) which meet to hear a speaker and share fellowship over a cup of tea. The men meet as a Supper Club, also having a speaker, but this is followed by a cooked meal. All groups also have a number of outings during the year.

Day Centre– On the first Wednesday of each month , the church runs a day centre for those are who are elderly or find it difficult to get out. Speakers, bingo and entertainment are regular features to supplement the meal and refreshments during the day.

Groups for Study, Prayer & Discussion– There are regular meetings of Bible Study Groups, a discussion group called ‘Talking of God’ and a Prayer for Healing Group. Opportunities to participate ecumenically through Prayer Breakfasts & Lent Lunches are also available.

Choir– Each Sunday, the choir helps lead the congregation in its worship. They practice each Wednesday and anyone is welcome to join.

Family Church Hikes– From time to time, on a Saturday, walks are arranged in the beautiful countryside surrounding the town. All are welcome to join in these which are planned to not be too difficult!

Family Church Productions– Every two years the Drama Group has put on a musical production in the hall which involves all ages. Great fun is had by all and it is a great way of getting to know each other better. The audience usually enjoys them as well!
